Grupo Bíblico Universitário de Portugal (GBUP), officially registered in 1976, is a student organization based on Christian principles which seeks to promote a holistic approach to training on civic, social and spiritual levels. GBUP also seeks to accompany students in their integration into university education as well as during their integration into the marketplace. GBUP is a member of an international community of similar movements (International Fellowship of Evangelical Students, IFES).

The objectives mentioned above are realized through the organization and support of student groups within various universities and academic institutions throughout the country. These groups have regular activities, which include debates, conferences, training seminars/workshops, readings, social action, and social events. Further, some events are organized for the purpose of helping students to understand the opportunities that are available and the privilege and responsibility of obtaining a higher education.

The Bulgarian Christian Student Union (BCSU) is a national student movement, which works towards spreading Christian values in Bulgarian Universities. It was first established in 1993 and was registered as a non-profit organisation pursuant to legal requirements in 1999.

It has been a full member of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES) since 1999.The BCSU consists of local student groups, situated in major university centres. The student groups organize discussions, lectures, parties, sport events and many others.

The organization has good experience and know-how in organizing various public events like debates, concerts and lectures at different universities. Every academic year BCSU has one major project and theme, around which we organize our various activities. The students take the centre stage in all projects, conferences, student discussion groups. The students participate actively in the managing teams for the events, initiate some of the activities, and assist in the organization of those projects.
